Simcoe Insurance Agency is an independent insurance agency located in Goldendale, WA and is the oldest independent agency in the state of Washington.  Simcoe Insurance was started in the early 1900's by Conrad Knosher and was first called Knosher Insurance Agency.  Conrad was later joined by his son Frank H. Knosher.

In 1960 Jim Bridgefarmer joined the agency and later became a partner with Frank Knosher.  The name was changed to Knosher-Bridgefarmer Agency.  Mr. Bridgefarmer later bought out Frank Knosher's interest and changed the name to Simcoe Insurance.  Jill and Neil Kayser purchased Simcoe Insurance in 1991 and Jill manages the business today.
